Malta Salary Calculator 2026

Use the Malta Salary Calculator to estimate your monthly or annual take-home pay from your gross salary. The calculator applies Maltese income tax and Class 1 social security contributions to show your estimated net salary.

You can select your tax status as single, married or parent and adjust the number of dependent children to see how your personal circumstances may affect the calculation. The results also show your effective tax rate, marginal tax rate, annual net income and the percentage of your gross salary you keep after taxes and social security contributions.

For employers, the calculator estimates the total cost of employment by adding employer social security contributions and the maternity fund contribution to the employee’s gross salary. This makes it easier to compare gross salary, net pay and the true monthly cost of employing someone in Malta.
